The investment case for crypto-assets is a complex area. With thousands of crypto-assets available, an absence of generally accepted taxonomy and very fast moving technological developments, it is particularly difficult to have a clear view on differentiating factors, value proposition or value drivers of the currently identifiable subsets of instruments. Furthermore, understanding the idiosyncratic risks and operational considerations from a crypto-asset management perspective is paramount for market participants to make it right from the onset.

By the end of this course, participants will:

  • apprehend the breadth of the crypto-assets landscape
  • understand the key features of each subset of crypto-assets
  • have a general overview of the crypto-assets management value chain and key stakeholders
  • discuss the current and upcoming regulatory landscape relevant to crypto-assets management

Inhalt

  • Introduction to crypto-assets taxonomy
  • In-depth review of each crypto-assets subsets key considerations
  • Deep dive into the crypto-assets management value chain
  • Overview of relevant regulatory landscape
