The investment case for crypto-assets is a complex area. With thousands of crypto-assets available, an absence of generally accepted taxonomy and very fast moving technological developments, it is particularly difficult to have a clear view on differentiating factors, value proposition or value drivers of the currently identifiable subsets of instruments. Furthermore, understanding the idiosyncratic risks and operational considerations from a crypto-asset management perspective is paramount for market participants to make it right from the onset.

Thomas is a director in our Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services team (CMAAS) with over 13 years of experience in both financial and non-financial sectors and leads our blockchain & crypto-assets activities. He is the Luxembourg representative in the PwC Crypto Accounting Working Group (CAWG), the Global Crypto Committee and Global Blockchain Community in the PwC Network and has been an instructor within PwC team since 2015.
