Intoduction to Wordpress

No prerequisites necessary

The participants will learn how to use Wordpress. They will understand the fundamentals of the interface settings, the user management, the extensions and the image management for the web.

Upon completion of this course, learners will be autonomous in the creation of a website/blog. The participants will know how to personalize a project with the use of plugins and extensions. They will also acquire the knowledge on where to look for resources, information and help.

• What is a CMS
• The difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org
• Fundamentals: settings tabs, user management, extensions such as plugins, images management …
• Contents: page, items, editor, blocks, categories, widgets…
• Dashboard navigation and use: posts, media, templates, tools…

This training does not have any assessment or exams; a certificate of participation will be issued to participants.
