Objectifs

The Law of 29 March 2023 (the "Law") introduced a new legal framework into the Labour Code to fight against moral harassment during employment. This law not only provides a precise and comprehensive definition of moral harassment but also imposes new obligations on employers. These obligations include the implementation of preventive measures and procedures, as well as the crucial task of informing and training employees on this critical issue.

In response to these legal requirements, PwC's Academy, in collaboration with experts from PwC Legal are proud to present an innovative e-learning programme designed to elevate employees’ awareness of moral harassment, empowering employers to meet their legal responsibilities effectively.

By participating in this course, employers and employees alike will gain invaluable insights and tools to foster a safer and more respectful work environment.

By the end of this course, participants/employees will be able to:

  • have a view of the data (statistics) on moral harassment at a global, European and Luxembourgish level;
  • be acquainted with the current legal framework in place in Luxembourg;
  • identify behaviours which may be qualified as moral harassment;
  • detect the effects of moral harassment on both employees and their work environment;
  • understand what information is needed for a moral harassment report and what steps to take;
  • know the employer’s obligation after receiving the report (investigation and outcome of the investigation);
  • figure out the measures that can be taken and the sanctions that can be applied in cases of moral harassment.
