Objectifs

The practical application of simple theory, tips and techniques to the workplace reality is at the heart of the training process. Participants should bring examples of workplace emails to the training. Key training methodologies include:

  • Building a better understanding of the psychology of email
  • Introducing and using the SUGAR model to write business emails that people read
  • Slowing down and focusing when writing emails
  • Thinking before you ink with BLUF
  • Maximizing the usage of subject lines
  • Being aware of your email tone
  • Avoiding over-communication through email
  • Establishing an etiquette for emails sent from mobile phones
  • Sharing tips and tricks on what has worked for others
  • Committing to transferring the learning
