The provision of training activities in Luxembourg is regulated and requires ministerial authorisation.
To become an approved training body that is authorised to provide training to third parties, check the conditions specific to your status as a private Luxembourg or foreign training provider, as a private association or as a foundation.
If you are an approved training body, companies established in the Grand Duchy which make use of your services can apply for co-funding for training, i.e. State financial support for the training courses they organise for their employees. Find out more about co-funding
You are also eligible to become a member of lifelong-learning.lu and to present your training courses on the national portal dedicated to lifelong learning.
Within the context of acquiring Luxembourgish nationality, the procedure provides for participation in a Luxembourgish language course with an approved course syllabus. To deliver Luxembourgish language courses within this context, please see all the information concerning approval of Luxembourgish language courses.
Are you an approved training provider or trainer? Would you like to list your training courses on the public platform dedicated to lifelong learning and advertise your training activities?
In order to increase your visibility, present the training courses you supply and get in touch with training demand, become a member of lifelong-learning.lu, the national portal for lifelong learning designed and managed by the INFPC.
Depending on the number of training courses you want to present, you can choose the appropriate services package from the three available: Ten, Fifty, or Fifty+. Then all you have to do is register your "Training provider" profile and follow the instructions.

lifelong-learning.lu is a practical tool created to give greater visibility to the training sector, improve the legibility of the training offer and facilitate access to training. The purpose of the training courses listed is to meet the needs of companies implementing their training plan and of private individuals seeking to develop their skills on an individual basis.
As a training body that is a member of lifelong-learning.lu, you can publish a detailed description of your training courses and even offer the possibility to register when a session date is published. Your training courses are thus presented to the Internet user in the results provided by the platform's search engine.
Using the Formacode® training offer thesaurus, your training courses are also classified into training domains and sub-domains and presented to the Internet user in the search by domain. The training glossary enables you to consult the tree structure of domains and sub-domains in order to identify those in which you offer training courses and browse the training offer already available on the portal.
The training courses published can be filtered according to the training domain, the training venue, the duration, the level sought, the preferred training language...
Membership of the portal also comprises a listing in the directory of training providers, including direct access to the presentation of your establishment and your training courses.
Have you had experience as a trainer?
When you register on lifelong-learning.lu as a "Trainer", you display your trainer CV free-of-charge and may thus enter into contact with training bodies.
Your CV as a trainer will be included in a CV library accessible only by training bodies that are members of lifelong-learning.lu and are looking for trainers for assignment contracts.
