Manager of Mediation Communication

Mediation is a conflict resolution process and at the same time a technique for preventing conflict and facilitating all types of communication. Depending on individual objectives and the number and nature of modules chosen, this modular basic course aims to:

• broaden communication and negotiation skills and/or
• Familiarise themselves with the tools used by a professional mediator and apply them in practice to any type of communicative challenge and/or
• Acquire the initial basic skills needed to practise as a mediator in compliance with the minimum 150 hours of training required, among other things, for accreditation by the Centre de Médiation Civile et Commerciale (CMCC), the Ministry of Justice and the Association luxembourgeoise de la médiation et des médiateurs agréés (ALMA).

Module 5 - Creativity techniques in conflict management
Module 6 - Negotiating with a focus on interests
Module 7 - Law, ethics & deontology - Mediation landscape in Luxembourg
Module 8 - Visualising: Graphically representing a negotiation
Module 9 - Highly emotional conflicts
Module 10 - Settings in Mediation
Module 11 - Supervision & quality management

At the end of the course, participants will receive a certificate of attendance issued by the CMCC.
